My Mission and the reason for this blog is it has been a long held dream of mine to visit America and i don't just mean New York and Los Angeles i would love to see some places where a four week vacation won't cover so by writing this blog it gives me a purpose, a reminder something to look forward to if i talk about it the quicker it might come around and to do this i realise that my original goal of $15,000 is not enough. Some people might say why bother but it keeps the dream alive for me and for anyone that does end up reading this I'm no wordsmith i don't pretend to be a good writer and like the words to flow freely.
I live in Australia and the last holiday i had was 10yrs ago to Queensland it was basically a week of theme parks don't get me wrong i love theme parks they are definitely on my American holiday agenda but theres no stopping to see the view the highlights of the area although i did beg my parents to take me to Steve Irwin's Australia zoo but alas my request fell on deaf ears.
Except for the yearly family reunion in country new south wales in a place called gundagai where the biggest tourist attraction there is the dog on the tucker box (a small statue in the middle of a fountain off the side of the road) i think i am due for a long holiday!
There is so much you can see in America! I love it - it's always an adventure, and honestly, you can do it for a lot less than $15,000 American Dollars if you travel smart - I've spent entire weeks away for less than $2000/average (hotel, car, and luxuries like Broadway shows, museums, exhibitions, etc...) You can do it - you just have to plan well!
